My Debut Album To Be Released Late This Year

Yes, I've been slacking. I've even been lazy. I promise to get to work after our Rain Forest/Desert trip. I hope to derive some inspiration from nature. I've got everything put together in my mind, I just need to kick myself in the ass and put it in wave form. Also, when I make my way back home to the Midwest in late October, stay tuned to WFHB, 91.3. I'll be stopping in to fill up my old radio spot with some awesome Pacific Northwest noise and grind core, and possibly some other stuff. It'll be a late/early show. Wednesday morning, 3am-6am, maybe even the 1am-3am slot as well. I originally planned to have my album finished by the time I went home for a visit, but it's been pretty crazy. So, we'll see how things go. That's the update for now.

Spider Trio kicked ass

Dail and I went to see the Spider Trio Saturday night. It was pretty amazing and the venue was pretty cool. Same people that had the S.S. Marie now have a new space called the Josephine in Ballard. It's a very intimate venue and in a pretty convenient location. I had been wanting to see Wally Shoup again since seeing a performance at the Blue Moon with Ghidra. That show was awesome, Bill Horist (Horseshit) could have kept his clothes on though. I've seen his underwear too many times.
Jeffery Taylor was also phenomenal, I had been looking forward to some of his other work after seeing him do some solo stuff at the Pacific Rim Brewery a few months ago. Excellent show.

Obama vs. McCain

If the election was to vote who had the most campaign bumper stickers, posters and flyer's. Obama would win by a landslide. Has anyone else noticed the very few open supporter of McCain? The McCain stickers I have seen are almost always stuck crooked on an enormous SUV or truck. I hope this means there will be more votes for Obama, but I'm afraid I might be wrong...

Seattle I love you

I’ve been living in Seattle for over a year now. It has had it’s ups and downs. The first couple months were tough, finding a job, a run-in with the law, moving, moving and moving again. Last July I went on an adventure alone to explore what the city has to offer. I managed to make it to a beautiful place called Golden Gardens. I walked around and saw all sorts of neat things. Then I sat on the shore watching the sail boats and the sun set behind the mountains and realized that I had to stay here, at least a year. So I did. Within that year, I had worked 3 different jobs, dated 3 different people and moved 3 times. The number 3 seems to be something with me. (I moved to Washington March 3rd ). In the last few months I have moved yet again and I have started a wonderful life with a wonderful man. I have a life here now. It’s a good feeling. I’m not doing anything spectacular, I’m working and planning some musical endeavors, but that’s about it. Things are going really well. And the weather is great, even though people told me it was going to suck. I dig it here.

an old blog in a new place

It's been a long time since blogging. It took me a while to find it. I'm in Seattle now. I'm far far away from home and I like it that way. It's pretty fucking awesome here. That's all i'm going to say now.
